• NRUTYAGEETAI: Classical dance presentation depicting the magnitude of stability, courage and inner inspiration based on illustrations from Shreemadbhavatgeeta.
All mighty resides in our mind in the form of stability, courage and inner inspiration. All these combine to make the spirit of our mind. This spirit is sometimes high and sometimes low. In the state of enthusiasm obviously this spirit is on the higher note, whereas in dejection the inner inspiration fails. And our spirit is low. It holds us back to perform our prescribed duties. A precious thought from Shreemadbhavatgeeta by Lord Krishna “ You have right to perform your prescribed duties, but you are not entitled to the success and failure of action. Never consider yourself to be the cause of the results of your activities and never be attached to not doing your duties.” This very though inspired Arjun to perform his duty on war front. In short when stability, courage and inner inspiration raises and over rules the dejection it motivates us to perform our decided duties fearlessly.
The presentation is inspired from the songs 'गीत कळते गाता गाता' penned by Shriram B. Athavale.
